1 moment of gratitude a day, keeps the stress away.

We’ve been operating in the wellbeing space for a while now and we pride ourselves on having our ears to the ground. Today we wanted to talk about gratitude, it’s far from a new concept but one that repeatedly comes up as an incredibly meaningful way to improve your wellbeing, and for good reason too! Expressing gratitude has been proven to have numerous benefits for both your mental and physical wellbeing. It can help improve your mood, reduce stress levels, and even improve your sleep! Who doesn't love a good night's rest?! The good news is that incorporating gratitude into your daily routine is simple and can have a profound impact on your life.

Let’s start by explaining why gratitude is so powerful?

When we take the time to reflect on what we are thankful for, we shift our focus away from what we don't have and towards what we do have.

This simple act of gratitude helps us appreciate all the good things in our lives, which can have a significant impact on our overall well being. It's also a great way to increase our overall sense of happiness and fulfillment.

So, how can you incorporate gratitude into your daily routine?

One effective method is to use a gratitude calendar. A gratitude calendar is simply a journal or notebook where you spend 5-10 minutes each day reflecting on specific things or experiences for which you are grateful. You can reflect on things like your family, friends, good health, or any other experiences or things that bring you joy and happiness.

Starting a gratitude practice can seem daunting at first, but the key is to start small and work your way up. Spend 5-10 minutes each day reflecting on what you're grateful for, and eventually, it will become second nature. You can even make it a habit by setting aside the same time each day for your gratitude practice.

Incorporating gratitude into your daily routine is a simple yet powerful tool that will have a big impact on your life. By taking the time to reflect on what you're thankful for, you'll find yourself feeling more content with where you’re currently at in your life and your overall sense of wellbeing will be boosted.

Give it a try and see for yourself how gratitude can change your life for the better, because all we want is to see you thriving!
