People Come For The Content But Stay For The Community

We all know that as a creator switching from being in person and interacting with your clients to online with limited contact can be a scary and daunting process. We don’t doubt that your content and offerings are still as unique and helpful as they were in person, but what you may doubt is the connectedness that you might lose from this process. Well, we have the perfect solution for you.

Not only does our app have some key engagement features, our community chat will allow you to keep in touch with your members. This feature means that you can keep contact and connect with everyone. So, how does it work?

  • Multiple chats - You can have as many as you like, whether that’s just one big group chat or multiple topic-specific ones.

  • Privacy - We have a privacy setting where you can choose who can join, keeping it invite only. Or maybe you want people to be able to join whichever group they feel drawn too. The options are there!

  • Recommended algorithm - 5 groups will be shown as potential options for new users to join, showing those that are best suited. However the private groups will remain hidden so you don’t have to worry about people joining those.

  • Quick reply - You can highlight someone’s message and reply in chat, making it easier to communicate with each other and follow conversation threads.

  • Attachments - Anyone can send pictures or videos to the group! This is a great way for your members to create a more personal connection with you and others.

  • Voice notes - You can record yourself and pop a personalised message on the group, making it easier to communicate.

All these elements allow you to interact seamlessly and connect effectively in the app.

Although our chat is very similar to popular messaging platforms, there is still a big jump from face to face contact. We’re sure by reading this you already have ideas on how you will use the community feature to your advantage. But maybe you don’t, so here are some ideas;

  • Create groups for challenges - if you’re running a new program or challenge, create a group so that people can motivate each other and connect over shared goals.

  • Ask people to share their selfies after they’ve completed a class, creating a fun and friendly environment.

  • Have different groups for different reasons - our suggestions are Class Requests, Welcome & Introduce Yourself, Ask me Anything! or Monday Motivation to name a few.

  • Use the voice note to speak freely to your clients, making it evident they are interacting with you personally.

By joining Sudor, you're not just providing high-quality content in the app; you're also creating a place for people to connect. The community chats allow your clients to interact with each other and with you, fostering support and engagement. Moving to the online space, which can sometimes feel isolating, becomes much more manageable when there's a platform for mutual motivation and connection. Plus it's a reminder that there's a broader community available. We know and see it every time, people come for the content but stay for the community.
