Over the last 3 months leading up to September, YouTube’s ad sales revenue has declined by 1.9% as compared to the same period last year. This recent turn of events has since brought their sales down to $7.1 bn which has shattered the expectations of a 4.4% increase in revenue.
YouTube was once said to be one of the only streaming platforms that would not be affected by any economic downturn; however, based on recent analytics this news has made YouTube content creators rather wary.
